Amy Bonitz is President and CEO at Baltimore Arts Realty Corporation, a nonprofit real estate developer. Prior to this appointment, Bonitz worked as a project management consultant for BARCO and several other nonprofit organizations. Bonitz oversaw the financing, design and leasing of BARCO’s two arts space projects in Baltimore’s Station North Arts and Entertainment District — Open Works, a $10 million maker space, and Motor House, a $6 million arts hub. Bonitz, a seasoned project manager with more than two decades of experience in real estate development in Baltimore, has particular expertise in complex public/private urban redevelopment projects. Since 2008, Bonitz is the principal of her own WBE registered consulting firm, Bonitz Palmer LLC. Her portfolio includes award-winning urban revitalization projects including Bond Street Wharf, Overlook at Clipper Mill and Rising Sun Mills. Previously, she was a senior development director with Struever Bros., Eccles & Rouse.
